This lovely, light-imbued, traditional home features an inviting open-plan living space which simply needed some updating and color balancing. I always remind clients to go shopping in their own house first and that’s exactly the approach we took here, rearranging artwork and art objects already on site. The reinvented space features the client’s original sofas reupholstered in a fun purple velvet with custom coordinated light and bright pillows to refresh the look. Deep jewel-toned accent walls reinforce the color scheme and introduce drama and depth. The den, powder bath and master bedroom were also upgraded with new finishes and ornamental finishing touches.
